Section 02

Refund & returns policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Irelley vending machine. This policy outlines when and how you can request a refund or return.

Important: Vending machines are business-to-business (B2B) sales and are typically not covered by consumer distance selling regulations. However, we offer our own returns policy to give you confidence in your purchase.

14-day cooling-off period

If you’re an individual buying for personal use (not a registered business), you have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period from the day of delivery to cancel your order. To exercise this right:

  • Contact us within 14 days of delivery
  • The machine must be unused and in its original condition
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned machine

Faulty machines

If your machine arrives faulty or develops a fault within the warranty period, you’re covered under our Warranty Policy. We will:

  • Attempt remote troubleshooting within 24 hours
  • Dispatch an engineer within 48 hours if needed
  • Repair or replace parts free of charge under warranty
  • Provide a full refund or replacement if the machine cannot be repaired

Deposits and payment plans

For monthly payment plan orders:

  • Deposits are refundable up until the machine is dispatched for delivery
  • Once dispatched, deposits are non-refundable but can be applied to another machine within 12 months
  • Monthly payments already made are refundable pro-rata if the machine is returned within the cooling-off period

Custom orders and wraps

Custom-wrapped machines and made-to-order units are non-refundable once production has begun. We’ll confirm your specifications in writing before starting any custom work.

How to request a refund

To request a refund or return:

  1. Email info@irelley.co.uk with your order details
  2. Provide photos or a description of any issues (if applicable)
  3. We’ll respond within 2 business hours with next steps
  4. Approved refunds are processed within 14 days to the original payment method
